Apple to Offer “iPhone nano” by Year’s End: Report

Brother, if there’s one thing that might make me regret my purchase of my iPhone 3G, it would be an iPhone nano. According to a report in The Daily Mail, Apple is planning to launch a nano version of the iPhone by year’s end.
According to the report, an unnamed industry source said:
This will be a big one. The iPhone 3G has been the fastest-selling phone ever in the UK, but it is too expensive to be a realistic proposition in the pay-as-you-go market. However, a cut down version, with the candy bar shape of iPod nano music players, would be a huge hit as a Christmas gift.
Sound familiar? A very similar rumor was circulating last year at around this time.
But what sounds weird is that, according to the report, the iPhone nano will have “a touch wheel on the back and display on the front so that numbers would be dialed from behind.”
What? It sounds like they saying it’ll have something similar to a dial on the back (like a dial phone, the type that kids see in B&W TV shows from the 50’s and can’t figure out)?
Somehow I doubt it. It should noted, however, that there have been a lot of rumors about a flip iPhone; now that I can believe.

Why is this news? says:
All right - a new form of iBrick!!!!
