Hello,
someone has tried that simcard unlock?
i'm italian, but i want to buy an iphone in switzerland because, although the italian iphone 3g is sim unlocked with all the sim, the price is too expansive (500 euro for the 8Gb). In switzerland (i wanna buy it with a switzerland friend) the iphone is sim locked but the prize is more convenient (330 euro for the 8 Gb).

TY for the reply!

It sucks when you have a beautiful iPhone 3g in front of you and you cant use it for anything more than an iPod touch. Any clues on unlocking yet? Dev team has yet to release

john_ai: Sorry to say but you have two problems. 1) The iPhone is only sold to US residents, you'll need to supply an address in the US to be able to purchase it.

And second, The iPhone as sold in the US is carrier locked and can't be unlocked by any means at the moment. See my previous post for more info.
