Sync Your Outlook, Google Calendars with Google Calendar Sync

Google Calendar is great, but wouldn’t it be great if you could sync your Google Calendar events with your Outlook calendar at work? Well, maybe not, it might give an idea of just how busy your life really is.
Anyway, this is a feature that many users would love, particularly Enterprise Google Apps users.
Google Calendar Sync is a (beta, what else for Google) Windows application that can sync either to Outlook, from Outlook, or bidirectionally. You can set the sync frequency.
However, it will only work with your primary calendar at this time.
To get started:
Download and install Google Calendar Sync from here.
Once Google Calendar Sync is installed on your computer, the Google Calendar Sync Settings window will appear. You’ll have to enter your username / password, natch, set the sync direction and set the frequency (10 minutes is the minimum time interval allowed).

When Google Calendar Sync is running, there will be an icon in your System Tray that you can use to manually sync and change options.
When your events are actively syncing there will be arrows on the Google Calendar Sync icon.
When idle, the icon will be as shown.
And … it seems to work as advertised!

Plaxo is a far better solution. It has a toolbar for Outlook and Thunderbird that syncs with Outlook, Gmail and Calendar, Yahoo, MSN, Hotmail, AOL. That covers about 99.9% of people.
If you have an iPhone or Smartphone, then you can sync everything everywhere.
Here are step-by-step instructions on Syncing Everything Using the Plaxo Toolbar.

We just launched KiGoo, a free tool that allows Google users to fully manage (create, read, update and delete) their Calendar and Contacts from MS Outlook.
Also KiGoo manage the Free Busy information of your Gmail contacts for appointments if they shared their FB status.
Currently we support Windows XP and office 2007.
