This refresh finally cured the inability of my computer to hibernate and then recover. It was always able to hibernate, but it never could recover. Prior to RC1 the hard disk would not spin up and stay spinning. After RC1 the hard disk spinned correctly, but the display would not recover. So far it has fixed one of the major issues I had with Vista; which was when a laptop that is a member of an AD is connected to a network but can not communicate with the AD it would take a long time to open applications and other functions. I mean 1 to 2 minutes to startup My Computer or the MSTS client. I installed SP1 RC1 last night. It took hours to get it all downloaded through updates.
