I pay $45 for Comcast and get 8Mbps Down / spin-the-wheel Mbps Up.

For 20/20 I'd pay $70

Seventy bucks a month for high speed internet access is ridiculous. Europe has had speeds as high as 40 mbps for a long time, and they don't charge a much more reasonable fee from what I understand. In the U.S. though, gouging the public is a fine art at this point.

Expanding is the problem! I see they are updating service to people who can already get FIOS, but what about all of us who cant even get the regular FIOS service? It is a shame that they cant finish one thing before starting another :(

Mike

Oh they should be MADE to replace the lines and switches in outlying areas - in-laws have dealt with 20k and under internet service for years because they cant get the full56k through the crappy equipment Verizon wont replace.
