Apple ships games for new iPods

Apple’s iTunes store now has games for sale that work with the newly released third-generation iPod nano (with video), iPod classic and fifth-generation iPod (with video).
Currently only Tetris, Ms. Pac-Man, and Sudoku will work with the new models.
We Say: Here’s the bad news: if you already purchased these games for your fifth-generation iPod, don’t expect a free upgrade. You’ll have to buy the game again for any new models, since they were “reformatted” for the new models.
Not really a surprise, considering Apple wants you to pay 99¢ for a song, then 99¢ more to turn it into an iPhone ringtone, unlike many phones, which allow you to use any MP3 as a ringtone.

Surely a new technology like the iPod nano deserves a game less than 25 years old, no?
Why not at least Lemmings? Okay, even that’s over 25.
The Sims? That might be fun, kinda like a tamagotchi.
Grand Theft Auto? Resident Evil? Come on, there’s some kick-ass processor in those things, look at the Coverflow view!
