					<description>I for one really hope the Blu Ray standard wins out.  Better quality, more storage capacity, etc, etc.

However, take a look at prices.  From checking Crutchfield and Circuit City, the cheapest Blu Ray player is $500.  Compare that to the HD DVD player, which sells for $250-300 on the low end.  Sadly, most people couldn't care less about quality and will go for what's cheap.  If Sony doesn't get their act together and get the price down to a comparable level very soon, they are going to lose big time.  Let's hope they learned something from the Betamax loss...

I haven't looked at a Target store, but if you look on their web site, they have 3 different HD DVD players for sale...and no Blu Ray players.  Something's funny here...</description>
