525,000 iPhones Sold in First Weekend

Yeah, yeah, another iPhone story, but I’ll keep it short and sweet. 525,000? For some cell phone models, that number would be a good lifetime sales figure.
Apple Inc. sold about 525,000 iPhones at Apple and AT&T Inc. stores in the first weekend since its June 29 launch, the Los Angeles Times reported on Monday, citing an analyst. Source: MSNBC
We Say: At the time of this writing, according to CNN, most iPhone (ha ha, Apple) stores are out of stock in California, though only one in New York state was sold out. But there’s always online, and I don’t mean eBay (though despite the good amount of iPhones, there seemed to be a pretty decent business going on over the weekend).

I agree with the ape man above. Why would you even consider buying one of these? Blackberries have been around for a while, and work very nice I think, except you look stupid holding it to your ear to talk.
Mike
buy a REAL mp3 player taht lets you change batteries and add storage, buy a REAL phone that is JUST a phone, and then use your damn laptop or PDA for the rest.
