GlobalTop HUD GPS Speed Meter HG-100

Here is the second instalment of our review of the HG-100 Speed Meter from GlobalTop.
In Part One, published last week, we gave you the unboxing and modus operandi -how it works- of this Head-Up Display.
Now we will talk about the installation, test drives, availability and the all important Value for Money factor.

And, oh yes, one of the test vehicles was a 1986 Ferrari….

Also: we have a special Giveaway of the Speed Meter for readers of RealTechNews!

Hi! Hey, I’ve found out by having the HUD, it’s actually illegal in Australia, as it is something that is visible above the dashboard…apparantly we can’t have that??!! :(

If Ive been informed incorrectly, please let me know!

    Cheers,
    Ed

I doubt that law can be used against you as “nothing” is above the dashboard. I mean unless something RESTING on the dash counts ?? are you referring to the gadget being illegal or the “light image” is projects above your dash being illegal? if the latter its not something (as in material) its “light” no different than light from the sun reflecting into your windshield except this light carries useful information. Not sure would have to read the law in question.
