“Colony Collapse Disorder” a Result of Cell Phones?

Colony Collapse Disorder: it’s been widely reported and it’s more worrisome than a simple lack of honey. The reasons for it are a mystery, but it has already affected half of the states. After starting in the U.S., it’s spread to continental Europe.
The theory is that radiation from mobile phones interferes with bees’ navigation systems, preventing the famously homeloving species from finding their way back to their hives. Improbable as it may seem, there is now evidence to back this up.
Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD) occurs when a hive’s inhabitants suddenly disappear, leaving only queens, eggs and a few immature workers, like so many apian Mary Celestes. The vanished bees are never found, but thought to die singly far from home. The parasites, wildlife and other bees that normally raid the honey and pollen left behind when a colony dies, refuse to go anywhere near the abandoned hives. Source: The Independent
We Say: The disappearance of bees is something to worry about, but as far as cell phone radiation causing any of it … it’s still to early to say. Depending on who you ask, cell phones can (or cannot) be reponsible for things as varied as cancer or infertility.

Ken says:
The solution here is simple. We need to design and manufacture millions of tiny “bee-sized” cell phones. Make these available to every bee, and have the Queen keep one at the hive. When lost while pollinating, the wayward bee can then phone back to the hive and bee directed back home safely. Problem solved - simple. We would of course have to up the “five” plan to maybe 5,000 or so as the sheer number of friends and family for each bee greatly outnumbers what we humans have found sufficient. Of course, we’d also have to offer reasonable monthly rates for the little critters. Verizon, can you hear me now?

Thats nice to share the views every one here. Get more info about what medical physicians around the world are saying about the effects of cell phones and electromagnetic frequencies. For more information http://www.harmonicplanet.com

Cyberfarer says:
While cell phones may contribute to CCD, I doubt it is the primary cause. While cell phone use may disorient bees, it would not explain why raiders also shun the hive or why those bees left in the hive are riddled with infection.

There is a solution to the cell phone problem.
We have a technology that sends out a low frequency to negate the high frequencies coming from cell and home phones and other EMR emmiting devices. Go to my site.www.mariarudnick.com

I believe that thier will be no single cause. First it would be important to verify whether or not this phenomenon is taking place in the wild as well as in artificial colonies. Beyond that there are too many potential causes from global warming to agricultural practices, “frankenfood” pesticide resistant crops, e/m radiation etc….We could be witnessing the beginning of the general collapse of the earths life system. Final note; has any one considered that the living in “controled colony environments could have something to do with it?

If it were mobile phones then surely the level of decline would be gradual over many years as mobile communications expanded. If it is due to mobiles then either we have passed through a threshold point where bees are now affected or a new mil technology only switched on recently is causing issues.

I worry that they are now going to blame it on a virus. If these researchers were to contact Dr. Robert Becker and read ‘Cross Currents’ and ‘The Body Electric’, it would become obvious that, though the honeybees are infected with a virus, their immune systems are indeed stressed from cell phone towers.
These electromagnetic fields are also behind their inability to produce a specific enzyme - the function of which is to remove toxins.
This is also why I am toxic and have Lyme.
