Google Emails Worm to Email Group

It’s bad enough I can’t enough trust those Paypal “Account Limited Messages” (I actually received a REAL one recently, which I almost ignored). Now I have to watch out for Google emails.
Naturally, it was an accident. Google sent out 3 postings to an email group, and some of them contained the W32/Kapser.A@mm worm (better known as the Kama Sutra worm).
“Some of these posts may have contained a virus called W32/Kapser.A@mm–a mass-mailing worm,” Google said in a note on its Web site apologizing for the incident.
W32/Kapser.A is better known as the Kama Sutra worm. Some antivirus companies raised an alarm about the threat in February, but it ultimately shriveled. Kama Sutra was designed to overwrite files on infected computers on a specific date. However, the worm, which spread under the guise of pornographic content, caused virtually no damage. Source: ZDNet
We Say: Such old malware should have done no little if any damage, assuming receivers had up-to-date antivirus software (and all of you do, right?). Still, you would have expected outgoing posts to be examined by Google’s own servers on the way out, too.

“I can’t enough trust”
“should have done no little if any damage”
Gotta get that second cup of coffee before hitting the send key.
