Another Reason to Worry About Cell Phone Radiation - Infertility
By Michael Santo

Cell phones have been linked to many things, such as brain tumors, increased auto accidents due to inattention, but male infertility? That actually makes me worry more.
There was a study last year, and now new results published just this past Sunday at the American Society for Reproductive Medicine’s annual meeting seems to confirm the results.
Between September 2004 and October 2005, a total of 364 males were evaluated by researchers from Cleveland Clinic, the Tulane University Health Sciences Center, and the Karthekeya Medical Research and Diagnostic Center in Mumbai. The study found that men who use their mobile devices for more than four hours per day were far more likely to have problems with sperm viability that could lead to infertility problems. We Say: Naturally, I’m wondering how the radiation in the general area of your ear will affect fertility. I’m glad to see the researchers say more investigation is necessary, but they also indicate that maybe the problem is not radiation but battery heat. Once again I wonder how that heat around the area of your head affects your sperm count. ???

Scott says:
to me it would make sense for all of us men that keep our cell phones in our pockets. The radiation and the heat of the battery would be right in the area to cause such problems.

I agree with SCOTT. I’m gonna start keeping my cell phone on a 6 foot lanyarn instead of in my pocket.

It isn’t a matter of not “carrying your cell in your back/front pocket”…It’s a matter of talking at length 3/4 hrs. cumlitively a day with transmission of direct exposure to the brain.
Hormones produced by the pituitary gland are responsible for stimulating the testicles to make sperm. Therefore, when levels are severely low, poor sperm development can result.
Radiation that damages the pituitary that controls hormone production can sometimes prevent the hormone messages from getting to the testicles.

BAN ALL CELL PHONES!!
woohoo…
lol
tis a dream I have :p
Mike
Why worry about any damaging effects? nobody cares anyway. How many of you stopped talking or texting on your phones while driving because they issued a warning it is dangerous?? Very few or none. How many will stop talking so much on a crappy connection each day?? very few or none. I really dont get the need for these articles since they will do nothing. Also the “far more likely” and “could lead to” sounds like the cigarette industry with the “may cause cancer”. Sue the cell phone makers and providers like everyone did the cigarette manufacturers, since they know they cause these problems - go get em!

There is no question that EMR (Electro magnetic radiation) is harmful to living things.
Just google “Dr. George Carlo” and see what the chief scientist behind the largest research study ever done has learned.
Even better, go to his web site, www.safewireless.org and learn even more.
At the same time, our modern conveniences are not going away. The idea is to not only survive, but to thrive, in this wireless world.
It’s your brain, your children’s brains, and your loved one brains that are at risk. Cell phones were never tested for safety before they were unleashed on the public (see Carlo’s web site and take the time to read his book, INVISBILE DANGERS IN THE WIRELESS AGE.
And it’s more than infertility. Take a look at Paul Brodeur’s book, The Zapping of America, written in 1975.
What about those sperm that are not destroyed, but altered in some way by this kind of radiation? Read what Paul Brodeur says about this kind of radiation and birth defects.
If you would like to know more about this, just send me an e mail.
I will share what I have learned about how to not only survive, but to thrive in this wireless age.

[…] Last year I wrote about a possible link between cell phone radiation and infertility … well, all your worries could be gone, if you try out this new underwear that purports to protect against cell phone radiation. The briefs are made with threads of silver which the company claims blocks cell phone rays and reception. The inventor, Andreas Sallmann, explains that when you put a cell phone inside your briefs, then dial your number from another phone, you probably won’t even get a signal. Source: Textually.org […]
