New Slingbox Unveiled by FCC

Slingbox A/V

According to TG Daily Sling Media has just received approval from the FCC for their first major hardware upgrade of their award-winning Slingbox to be called Slingbox A/V. With football season starting, the Geek were just talking about the Slingbox.

Knowing that Sling Community is the official community of Sling Media, the Geeks will continue to scan for substantiation of the FCC approval with some details perhaps on the cost and when this new Slingbox will be available. My guess for availability will be either at the end of November or the beginning of January.

I don’t get it. Slingbox has AV connections now. I already have my DVR and DVD connected to it. Does this guy at TG Daily know what he is talking about?

I have just purchased a Slingbox A/V so I can watch my home lineup when traveling. But I heard that the FCC was going to shut down Slingboxes nation wide due to some kind of issue. Is ther any truth to this? Fred
