The “S” in TSA Stands for … ?

The TSA today said the personal data of 1,195 former employees may have been exposed as one of their contractors mailed the data to the wrong addresses. Admittedly, not the same as sending it to say, a spammer in Nigeria, but still.
Accenture, a contractor that handles TSA personnel, sent 1,195 documents to the wrong former employees during a recent mailing, according to a letter signed by Richard Whitford, TSA assistant administrator for human capital. Source: USA Today
We Say: Accenture isn’t exactly a small company, so you wouldn’t expect this of them. Don’t get me wrong; this isn’t that big a deal, as it’s not the same as losing a laptop, but it still shows just how easy it is for data to be exposed. Oh, and you people in Homeland Security (which the TSA is part of), “S” is supposed to stand for Security.
