Video: Walluminate, the DIY Light-up LED Wallet

By Andru Edwards

In this Bleeding Edge Byte episode, Nate shows why the Walit doesn’t work when used in the real world, and instead creates his own better, brighter version. The Walluminate is made using a standard folding wallet, bright LEDs, and some other miscellaneous electronic components. The result is a wallet that brightens up your cash, and only lights up when the wallet is open.

Check out the video, which features a look at the different properties and components of the project, showing how everything works and comes together, creating a geeky way to carry around your cash.
