Gianni Versace’s label teams up with Samsung to create the E500 Versus fashion phone

Samsung has teamed up with Versus, Gianni Versace’s youthful, free-spirited and daring line, to bring us the E500 mobile phone…

Well, not ‘us’ exactly. The chic clamshell goes on sale in Italy in August in three colourways: white and gold, white and antique pink and black and silver.

The E500 Versus totes a 1.3-megapixel camera, music player and Bluetooth, but of course tech specs have nothing to do with why fashionistas will want this handset peeking out of their handbags.

We say: Roberto Cavalli’s handbag handsets are in for some stiff competition.
