ZuneLive.com Domain Name Registered by Microsoft

Things continue to solidify around Zune. As you recall, I wrote about the name change from Argo to Zune a little while ago. It appears this is real, as ZuneLive.com was registered by Microsoft on 5/24/2006.
The Zune rumor mill has been buzzing with news that the domain name ZuneLive.com was registered on May 24, 2006 and set to point to Microsoft’s domain name servers. Many people wrote this rumor off as fake after one clever person did a WhoIs lookup and discovered that the registrant is some guy named Jack Spurr from Nova Scotia. Do you know who Jack Spurr is? Source: ZuneNation
We Say: Why should we think ZuneLive.com was registered by Microsoft? After all ZuneNation.com wasn’t.
Because Jack Spurr initially registered both Microsoft’s Live.com and MicrosoftGadgets.com. ‘Nuff said? More info (obviously) to come.

Zune is really great. From the specifications at http://www.zunevideoconverter.com , Zune will be better than iPod at Wi-Fi, FM radio, and preloaded content.
