Shadow. Did you even read the article? Or are you suffering from digg syndrome?
Re the article, I’ve seen physical freinds of walls used to great help in funding before, and giving people that special little bit of history. Great idea all round.

Seems to me I read it just fine, what makes you think I didn’t?
From the article:
“Do you love Firefox? Have you made it your default browser? Then maybe you want to have your name on the Firefox Friends Wall, and displayed in Firefox 2″
And:
“As far as displaying the names within Firefox 2, the exact method hasn’t been determined yet.”
I agree with you, this is a great way of getting the word out there, as long as they don’t include it in the source code.
PS. My monitor has never seen the Digg home page…

What is up with you guys? Go read the official article at http://worldfirefoxday.com Maybe you’ll notice that this thing will last however long Firefox does. Not just Firefox 2 or 3. It’s nerdy, but hey, everybody’s got a geek inside. I know that the Firefox Friends Wall will proclaim my love to my fiancee for the rest of its’ existence, and I’m proud of it. You guys must be IE users anyway, you don’t know how cool it is.
