Microsoft has figured out what we’ve known all along, even hardcore gamers like playing the old 80’s arcade games. Microsoft will be adding a new game every week for the next five weeks, the first of which will be Frogger, with updated graphics, co-op play with friends in the room or across the world, versus speed mode and it will include all new bonuses as well as an all time high score that you’ll want to beat.
Enjoy the classic game Frogger, revitalized and brand spanking new on your Xbox 360™. With enhanced artwork building on the original title’s style, modernized sound and music, and all new play modes, this is an Xbox Live Arcade title you won’t want to miss out on.

But Canessa said they’ve found that even the so-called hard-core gamers are interested in the arcade games and willing to pay for them.
Microsoft now has 20 arcade games available for sale to people who own an Xbox 360, the second iteration of Microsoft’s video game console. Canessa said they hope to have about 50 titles available by the end of the year. Source: Seattle Post

Exactly, they are copying Nintendo, except for the little fact that they announced their plans to do this long before any fact about the Wii were announced. But yeah, besides that, totally copying.
