Siemens SL-65 Interceptor Spy Phone Lets You Listen In

RealTechNews

There’s a branch of technology that centers on spying - gadgets that can record video and audio, software that snoops on what a user does online, and now, the interceptor cell phone. These devices aren’t new, but this one is especially creepy because the phone looks really high end - as in what a nice gift I just got for Christmas. All you do is dial a seceret number and the Siemens SL-65 mobile phone will silently pick up and let you listen in.

The phone has all the functions of the normal model as found in every shop. No one can find out that it is a special spy phone! However when you call the phone using the phone’s special number, it automatically answers without letting the owner being aware that you are connected to their phone. It allows you listen discreetly to what is going on up to 5 meters away from the phone. When anyone is calling or recieving a phonecall with the phone, you will get an SMS message wich tells you what the phone is doing. Then you can call to the phone and listen to the conversation. We Say: At €1,699.00 [2,169.96 USD] wouldn’t it be easier to confront your cheating spouse or keep a closer eye out on your kids?

I would almost pay the much for a small device that would allow me to force a drop in some idiots high decible cell phone call. Maybe if they got disconnected enough they would get the message that shouting into to a cell phone will NOT increase the reception.

Seems to me this could totally be traced — if every time a call comes in an SMS goes out there’s going to be huge SMS charges… I know my provider charges $10 for 300, but I usually have 30 or 40 calls a day minimum.

If you just paid $2,000 on a phone to catch your cheating spouse/etc, upgrading to the unlimited SMS plan for another $20 (and cancelling the itemized billing at the same time) isn’t going to break you, Greg.
