Geek For Sale - Geeks helping Geeks

Don’t you hate dealing with recruiters and the big job sites like Monster, Dice and Hotjobs? One solution that I use is Linked In. Linked In is an online network of 6 million experienced professionals from around the world and allows you to keep in touch with your network which is vital when the layoff monster visits you.
In addition to these networks and job sites, the Geeks created another site called Geek 4 Sale. The basic idea behind this site is that a geek that’s ‘in between jobs’ will be featured periodically. This concept is similar to woot which features a new product daily. This is our way of giving a bit back to the community. As a geek looking for a new gig, all you need to do is shoot us an e-mail and make a request. As long as you’re worth your technical salt, we’ll add you to the queue. That’s it. No charge to you. Really! We won’t publicize your personal info (phone and email) without your consent or unless you choose to include it in your resume. Basically, Geeks helping Geeks.
