Light Delight Water Faucets Change Color Based on Water Temp

RealTechNews

This is shaping up to be the century of new lighting. (The enlightenment?!) New LEDs are changing everything from street lights and billboards, to even the basic home water faucet. Here is a faucet design called the Light Delight from Equa System in Italy that lights up the water based on the temperature. Blue water is cold, red is hot and orange is juuusssst right.

We Say: Cool idea but we can hear the shrieks as innocent guests turn on the water for the first time. No idea how much these cost - the website is a mess of frames and one page has a nude model holding the faucets. (Gotta love Italian advertising) but for more info click here.

They recently featured these on HGTV’s “I Want That Baths” show. Pretty much the same thing… minus the nipple.

I see you knobs on your faucets dont light up like the ones on excitinglighting.org do. This means your faucets dont act as night lites. The ones on excitinglighting.org use a low 3.8 DV Voltage and they have a kitchen and bathroom model. Also their faucets have Blue for cold and shades of MAGENTA for warm NOT ORANGE like yours. Then from magenta is goes to red for hot. Again they are also night lites for the kids. From what I saw they have a very low purcahse cost.

    Good luck to you!!!!!!!!
