Review of Logitech 28mm Speakers with NXT

The Geeks received Logitech’s first product to employ NXT’s flat-panel speaker technology, simply called the Logitech 28mm Portable Speaker. NXT provides unique sound solutions and they are best known for their flat-paneled speaker technology which exploits their expertise in bending wave physics.
The review was as much of a review on the NXT flat-panel speaker technology as the actual Logitech product.
NXT is a provider of unique sound solutions, best known for its flat panel loudspeaker technology based in the UK. The company has its origins in the world-renowned British audio industry and is responsible for the development of the Distributed Mode Loudspeaker (DML), an award-winning audio technology that can be applied across numerous industries to create highly differentiated products and solutions.
Anyway, the Geeks have tested several portable speakers before with lackluster results… read the review to see if NXT flat-panel speaker technology can make portable sound rich and full.

Ever since getting Logitech’s Z-680’s I’ve been a fan of their speaker systems. These look nice too for someone on the go.

Read the review! As part of the review process I packed them on a couple of trips up and down the east coast. Once I packed them in a suitcase that airline baggage handlers threw around and the other trip they were thin enough to use with my carry-on. These are definitely able to go portable.
