MySpace to Begin Selling “24″ Video Downloads

Something interesting is going on over at MySpace and it isn’t cheesy profile pages and predators. Parent company News Corp is quietly bypassing iTunes, Yahoo and other video download services and is going straight to the consumer. Starting next week, MySpace will be the place for downloadable episodes of the show “24.”

MySpace, one of the fastest growing Web properties, will begin selling episodes of the show “24″ for $1.99 per episode from seasons one and five, the report said. Two free episodes of the show will also be available, sponsored by Burger King Holdings, according to the Journal. Source: Reuters
