Colorful, customizable and cores aplenty…
Oh well, we counted at least 2 in this Duo Core, SLI board that’s aimed at supporting AMD’s Socket 939 Athlon 64 CPUs. Here’s a motherboard for serious gamers on a budget (probably the majority of gamers…)
DigitalReviews rated it a 9 out of 10 (Excellent), having put it to the test with half a dozen benchmarks.

You know what I want? And really I’m not asking much, but for the love of all that is holy, is a legacy free motherboard really that unrealistic? I don’t need PS/2 ports, serial or parallel. WHY DO THEY INSIST ON THE INFERNAL PS/2!

I hate paying for something I’m never going to use, don’t waste the space, give me more USB ports.

I don’t know that you really need more than 8 USB ports. Both of the two computers I use have 8 USB ports and I only use 5 or 6 tops.

Currently I’m using all 6 of the USB ports I have on the back of my PC and at any given time both of the front USB ports. So if I need to add something, even temporarily its a pain so I’ve resorted to a USB hub.

I don’t even use PS/2, serial, or Parallel anymore, and I want to build a new PC, I don’t want to waste space with ports I don’t plan to ever use again. My mouse and keyboard are both USB, my printer is USB and everything else I use is USB except for my monitor.

My point is, why are company’s taking so long to get rid of the legacy stuff that some people just don’t use? And the few people who do use it can easily get a new USB enabled device or a dirt cheap convertor.

I’m paying money on that motherboard for two or three pieces I’ll never use. Kinda ridiculous =)
