For a lot of us, experienced tech junkies, troubleshooting computer problems is a thoughtless procedure where our brain follows a pre-established methodology that will help us solve most, if not all, IT puzzles that presents themselves to us on a daily basis. If you’re a junior IT worker or a small-time dabbler in computer technology, you may not have developed this methodology yet. The guys at GeeksAreSexy wrote this quick guide to help you understand the best way to handle the troubleshooting process in a painless and effective way.
We Say: To help you release the stress after a difficult support call, we suggest keeping a small voodoo doll with the word “user” written on its forehead under your desk. When you need to let the steam off, just stick two or three needles inside the doll’s head while laughing maniacally. You’ll see, you’ll feel much better after.
