Sony Ericsson has announced the launch of the W700i in titanium gold. Oh, and smooth white, but who would know. The lure of the golden blower has palmed off any rivals in the Walkman stakes.
Aside from a music player, Sony Ericsson’s gold digger features a 2 megapixel camera, 4x digital zoom and video recording. Other swish extras include a set of headsets and music management software and cables so you can rip CDS to your PC and transfer them to the phone.
Part with a few more pennies and you can pick up a full range of plug-in music accessories from small portable speakers to car systems. Oh, and expand the storage capacity. Available in the next few months, the W700i comes with a 256MB Memory Stick Duo, but you can bag 2GB versions that hold up to 47 CDs.
We say: It seems a full few carats less blinging than D&G’s MOTO RAZR, but perhaps that’ll mean that more of us can carry it off. Er, and afford it…
