How to Hack Your MySpace Profile

MySpace is popular but not everyone likes the look of the profile. Today I found a guy who came up with a clever hack that will hide ads, clean up white space, and remove scroll bars, and so on. We Say: Of course, this is not a hack like the guy who made himself the most popular person on MySpace, but it’s good clean formatting fun.
The other night, I couldn’t sleep (probably too much coffee), so I decided to tweak out my profile on MySpace. The goal was to completely hide everything on MySpace (including the ads), and replace it with something much cooler. This, of course, did not come easy. Here are a few of the obstacles I had to overcome:
1. Hiding the iFrame which contains the ads (any CSS to hide iFrames is blocked)
2. Positioning the new site at the very top of the page.
3. Getting rid of the horizontal scroll bar after the CSS was applied.
4. Hide existing comments so there isn’t whitespace at the bottom of the page.
Here is the CSS that needs to be copy and pasted into the “About Me” section of your MySpace profile. In the CSS the margin-left on .main, and .main table is half of the total width, and is a negative integer. For instance, if your width was 500px, margin-left would be -250px.Here is the HTML that needs to be copy and pasted into the “I’d Like To Meet” section of your MySpace profile. You can replace the “INSERT YOUR SITE HERE” with your own HTML. Keep in mind that you CANNOT use id= on your divs because MySpace blocks them. Use class= instead. Source: The Big Noob.com

I really enjoy all the dumbass comments on here about how the code doesnt work… what this code does is pretty much cover up your old myspace shit and gives you a BLANK PAGE to start with… thats the idea… its like a DIV overlay. In general, it gives you the opportunity to use Myspace as a decent hosting service for a web page of your own, rather than a myspace profile. Batman sucks.

A hack is modification which is exactly what this is.
It also doesn’t erase anything. It’s a div overlay which means it COVERS shit and so if you’re only skill with a myspace profile is copy/pasting someone’s tacky code into your “ABOUT ME” then you should not mess with overlays.
If you know nothing about CSS/DIVS (because frontpage and a highschool HTML class doesn’t count) then don’t fucking mess with it.

totally works. it creates empty white space on you myspace so you can do anything you want with it, without all that ugly myspace look it has normally. just type in some basic html codes in the ‘instert your site here’ space and you will find quick results.

this code works.
it just wont magical make a myspace layout for you .
you have to make a layout in photoshop
then you have to get a hosting website.
then you upload your layout (image) of your layout.
then you image map it or whatever.
then you just enter the url and everything where it says on the code.
you guys are dumb though.
and for the tracker.
you have to use javascript on your hosted website to retrieve cookies and then store them as a file on hosting website..(havent figured out how to get it hosted yet.)
and for the people that need help getting into a account because your dumb and forget your password.
its possible, but im not helping because i dont have time to help people anymore.
to add on to the forgot password stuff.
you cant just get into it.
there is only one way to get myspace passwords and that is by making a fake login page and the person logs into it.
but seriously people.
dont try to change your myspace around if you have no clue what your doing and have no basic knowledge of web design and/or CSS/HTML

As you see on their main page there is a “forgot your password” link that will email your password to the email you have provided. However, searching deep into the source one is able to find how to exploit this form. The form sends the email address you entered in the form to the server. The server then searches its database for the email. It finds the corresponding password and sends that to the email address you have entered from the servers email address. In the subject field type the the friend id of the myspace you want to hack into.

Once again, it confuses the server into sending the password of the victims email to your email.

First, to reiterate what someone else said above (a very smart person, might I add): Find the “www.yoursitehere.com” and change it to…guess what….YOUR SITE! Finally, for all of you that complain about a hacked MySpace, it’s your own fault for using a system that has been proven to be vulnerable and to be administered by people who don’t care about the security of their own site. I mean, come on! Not blocking Javascript? That’s complete and utter bullshit. That’s a cookie-stealer exploit right there! You deserve to get hacked if you believe that you are somehow not going to be hacked. And the people, such as the one that posted the pswdrecovery@excite.com or whatever it is, who try the whole, “send us your username and password and we’ll get into the other person’s MySpace”, sadly, probably can’t keep up with the emails they get, because you all fall for them. This was done for Hotmail, Yahoo, and most other popular things that people wish to “hack”.
Long story short, a lot of you need to grow some brains.
