Gematriculator: How Good or Evil is Your Website?

The world seems obsessed with good and evil, so it’s no surprise that the Web is not far behind in finding a way to measure good and evil on Web pages. (Stats are soooo Web 1.o). Anyway. since it’s Sunday night and tomorrow we return to our usual gadget and tech coverage, take a break and see how good or evil your favorite websites are. And of course, we ran our own selves through the Gematriculator and came out more good than evil. Whew!
The Gematriculator is a service that uses the infallible methods of Gematria developed by Mr. Ivan Panin to determine how good or evil a web site or a text passage is. Basically, Gematria is searching for different patterns through the text, such as the amount of words beginning with a vowel. If the amount of these matches is divisible by a certain number, such as 7 (which is said to be God’s number), there is an incontestable argument that the Spirit of God is ever present in the text. Another important aspect in gematria are the numerical values of letters: A=1, B=2 … I=9, J=10, K=20 and so on. The Gematriculator uses Finnish alphabet, in which Y is a vowel. How do you define irony? www.satan.com is 1% evil and 99% good while www.god.com is 54% evil and 46% good! How about www.good.com being 43% evil and 57 % good while www.evil.com is 62% evil and 38% good.

Pages I have tried that establish frames are coming out as 1% evil, 99% good. So I guess frames aren’t evil after all.

I just installed it a few days ago because I wanted to easily get podcasts. I told it not to be the default player for *anything* yet for some reason it decided to mess up my media keyboard’s bindings and I couldn’t reset them until I uninstalled iTunes and manually set WMP as my default player again. Why can’t software makers realize that not everyone wants their software taking over their systems?
