Tip of the Day: Don’t Post Ads for Cocaine on the Internet

This one is a tad off topic, but we like to cover “shocking” Internet stories from time to time. I would file this under, Note to self: when trying to sell illegal drugs like cocaine, don’t post an ad on the Internet. Oh…and don’t include your phone number.

An accused drug dealer was nabbed for trying to sell cocaine — on the Internet. Police said that Tyrone Burgo, 20, of Brockton, posted an online advertisement for cocaine. The ad also included a phone number. Officers called the number on Friday and arranged to meet Burgo Friday night near City Hall. Police said an undercover officer bought cocaine from Burgo. He was quickly arrested. Source: AP via the BostonChannel.com

I guess the drug dealing community doesn’t exactly attract the brightest people out there ;)

I just would have like to seen the look on the cops when they came across this ad or when this bright drug dealer had to explain to his fellow jail mates how he got busted DUH
