the manner in which flas drives are ever increasing in storage could lead to users walking around with all of their data and info on one device. Why can't a flash drive be setup with installed programs, email settings, etc. and all we would have to do is plug into a device such as a thin-client and be functioning like we were sitting in front of our PC or latop no matter where we travel or work from?

I dunno why wallet makers just don't start putting pockets in for memory cards. And I will point to this thread if you try and patent it! Besides the plethora of non-USB sticks that are easily smaller than this, there's a USB one as well:

I've also wondered about ideas like RFID instead of credit cards. The same thing could happen. Remember those people who are embedding RFID under their skin (our story at http://www.realtechnews.com/posts/2452)? I can see it now ... a Law and Order or CSI story where perps are going around taking RFID tags from people ... the hard way.

"Plus, now when your wallet gets stolen you can lose all your data too."

Hmmm... Put a modified virus/trojan on this wallet flash drive. The criminal tries to read data off of it, his/her computer gets infected with something that tries to call the police...
