I have long felt that they're better than Intel and they have managed to squeeze more performance out of their systems at less Mhz - they had hypertransport before Intel had Hyperthreading and the former is better than the latter. I service many computers and I always recommend upgrading or new buyers to buy AMD I have used AMD for my last 3 PCs and will soon move to AMD 64X2 I hope.
