The Good News: this SATA II hard drive from Buffalo Japan is the reigning speed champ with a 3 Gbps transfer rate and 150 - 500GB capacities. The price is also expected to be reasonable and the drives may have a RAID 1 version.

The bad news: It’s not for sale in the US yet. This is a Japan only product for now. Sigh….
