I know new launches of this magnitude always have problems but since a system costs about $400 you would think they would want their customers to be completely satisfied with their purchase, and wouldn't you think they owed it to their customers. I mean after all people were waiting in huge lines, some even overnight, and waiting all that time to be rewarded with a system that still has glitches, wow thanks. Perros is right though, glitches like this happen with every system, I would imagine that doesn't make it any less disappointing though.

Quote from Pica (x-box scene) "Errors are always expected with new hardware. The PlayStation 1 had overheating problems. The PS2 had laser problems. Xbox 1 had DVD drive problems...It's an expected evil with launch consoles."

Apparently the XBox 360 over here at the dorm doesn't have much trouble though it did crash a handful of times over the long weekend (or so people say) after hours upon hours of gaming.

1. you shouldn't have to do something like that for a brand new system, especially the power supply.
2 microsoft should have been smart enough to wait a little longer to make sure everything was as close to perfect as it could be.
3 now they are going to have a bunch of people posting complaints and rants all over the internet about problems they are having which is the last thing an expensive new system needs.
