Sigh. if only this were true. But for fun, a programmer took the valuation AOL paid for Weblogs Inc. and plugged it into the Technorati ranking API, and came up with a handy blog value caluclator you can try on any blog. It’s free and fun, until you realize that you aren’t getting a check for that amount anytime soon. Click Here to try your own URL of choice.
Inspired by Tristan Louis’s research into the value of each link to Weblogs Inc, I’ve created this little applet using Technorati’s API which computes and displays your blog’s worth using the same link to dollar ratio as the AOL-Weblogs Inc deal. Source: Business Opportunities Weblog
