Yahoo Gets Into Blog Search With So-So Offering

A couple days after Google finally moved into the RSS reader market, Yahoo has decided it’s time to roll out a blog search tool. You will have to look pretty close, however, to find it because it’s buried within Yahoo’s news service. As for how it works, you enter a search term and it delivers the blog results in a thin strip on the right side of the news results. It is service-able but don’t expect anything mind-blowing. We Say: Yahoo’s blog search service is nothing to write home about. It seems like a quick attempt to get into the market without introducing anything new, innovative or even interesting. Blog search users are better off staying with Technorati, IceRocket or Google’s blog search tool.
