Whoops! Palm CEO Shows Live Audience Bill Gates’ Cell Phone Number

You have to laugh at this one. Ed Colligan, the very overly eager Palm CEO, demonstrated the new Windows-based Treo 700w with Bill Gates himself and pulled up Bill G’s contact info to prove the device was real. He made a call and Bill got an SMS message, and the crowd applauded I’m sure. But people were also quick to jot down the number, which I imagine has since been changed. Source: Mark Evans

Well, the Bill G. cell story is interesting. However they are techies and subject to G.I.G.O. Now on to reality, just wait until 2006 less than 100 days left, when the all new digital television programming is to take effect. I suppose it may cost several Thousand dollars for both the digital T.V. and then the Set Top Box to go with it. 2/3 of the U.S. cutoff or at least 37 million poor potential subscribers, we’ve learned about from Katrina let alone any attack on U.S. soil. Let us wait by our pre paid cellular phones for instructions from F.E.M.A.

During my high school years, one of the few high points was a weekly legal series, The Defenders witch ran on CBS from Sep 61 to Sep 65. In my opinion, it was the best dramatic most socially conscious show ever. It tackled many issues once considered taboo-capital punishment, race relations, blacklisting, mercy killing, drug addiction, and many others. It concerned a Father and Son Law firm, Preston and Preston. E.G.Marshall was the father and Robert Reed was the son and junior partner. The show was a clear alternative to Perry Mason, which I did not like. The Prestons made mistakes, lost cases, defended clients which were often unsavory, and sometimes failed to resolve issues.
The show had a different issue every week and was never pedantic. It really made me a better student and I needed all the help I could. Right now I have 32 episodes, 29 of which were excellent and the other three not worth watching. I got these through internet sources but have had difficulty finding the rest due to one big roadblock.
Whoever wrote the show put in high royalties and that is why The Defenders is not available either at video stores or syndicated TV reruns. It is real shame because the vast majority of these shows on Nick at Night or TV land were not worth watching the first time.
With your name and influence, you could possibly work with CBS and Plautus Productions, which generated the program, to make the additional 100 available to me. I am actually interested only in 95 stories since the other five were below par entertainment. I would really appreciate any effort.

Je veux réaliser, je veux monter un projet. J’étais élève au Lycée Mermoz d’Abidjan, mais ne pouvant payer les frais d’inscription, j’ai été renvoyé. Je ne veux plus aller à l’école mais réaliser. Pour ma part, j’aime votre façon de jouer et de te comporter dans vos programmes. Je voudrais si ce n’est pas indiscret te demander un service.
