ActiveECG Turns Your Treo 650 Into a Real-time EKG/ECG Diagnostic Machine

I am not sure I would trust a hand-held with my heart, but a company called Acitve Corporation has developed a very interesting add-on for the Treo 650 that essentially turns it into your own personal EKG machine. The cool part I must say, is that the data is displayed in real-time and you can save readings on your PC to show to your doctor later, or just to keep a more historical perspective on your cardio health over time.

“ActiveECG for Treo 650 has a price tag of $699 and the complete bundle includes the ActiveECG hardware, a Treo 650 compatible serial cable, software for the Treo 650 and companion software for the PC, ECG leadwires, battery, test cable, extra cover and one set of ECG electrodes.” Source: Mobilemag via Gizmodo
