File this one under, deeply, deeply ironic. A Beijing woman shot her fiancé to death after she became fed up with his video game addiction (and apparent joblessness). Sounds like she could have used a little Half Life herself. And they say gamers are violent….
A Beijing woman has been charged with the August 6th murder of her fiancé. The Beijing Morning Post reports that she was fed up with her man for spending “too much time playing online games,” instead of finding a job to pay for their wedding. Source: Joystiq

Sounds to me like she wanted one of those princess for a day weddings so popular in western culture. It wouldn’t have lasted anyway. Hope she finds “Hotel Greybar” more to her liking. It really wasn’t worth it.

I say good for her. Maybe some of these other jerks will stand up and listien. I am the wife of a game addict who lives in complete denial. His life exists only for the game. I do everything else an adult would do I take care of the family, I work, clean house and do anything that requires responsibility. He like having another child to rasie. he even uses the fact that I don’t play the game to find an online romance with he met her on the game. Killing someone is not right, but being angry is not wrong.

I consider parents must limit the amount of time their children spend on the Internet as well as time spent on television, videos/DVDs, and video games.
For example, I use internet filtering software Ez Internet Timer http://www.internettimer.net to take control Internet activity of my child. It works perfectly. It can block Internet browsers, e-mails, file downloads using Ftp, messengers and keep them blocked for as you wish
