Would you like to get one of those fancy wall-mounted audio-control systems for your home? Better yet, how about one that can also control your iPod? Hey! Better yet, how about controlling your iPod from any one of six rooms in your home? Oh YEAH BABY!!
SpeakerCraft’s new “MODE” system (Music On Demand Experience) controls all of your multimedia devices, including iPods, AM/FM tuners, satellite radios, hard-drive music servers, and anything else that can send and receive infrared signals, and let’s you enjoy them in up to six rooms of your home.
A special docking station allows the iPod to send & receive IR commands.
The key feature of MODE is its ability to control and display all content stored on your iPod in up to six rooms, a feature the company claims is not available on any other multi-zone home install system.
The MODE control panel features a scroll wheel to enhance the “geek factor”.
Once you have your iPod turned on and connected to the docking station, you can leave it in one room, and be able to control it from another room. Source: biz.yahoo.com
