Peugeot’s Fuel-Cell Four-Wheeled Motorcycle
Peugeot’s futuristic prototype two-seater, 4WD Quark was built to showcase the company’s fuel cell technology. The Quark has a removable interactive interface, which appears to be a PDA on steroids.
The unit serves the same purpose as an ignition key and is used in conjunction with an instrument panel. Positioned in its housing, it provides information concerning the traction system and the fuel cell, speed, SATNAV, etc. Protected by a small transparent and waterproof cover, it allows the vehicle to be started when in place and immobilises it when removed. Far more than just a show floor dummy, the Quark competed successfully at the recent Michelin Bibendum Challenge. Source: Gizmag

Alice, I found your scooter replacement…and it’s green, too!
Now if we can only get the engineers to design something for everyone who is not 18-25, testosterone bloated, and those who feel the need for *exceptional* suicidal speed. In short, unlike this one, a vehicle that will not make it easier to kill yourself.

I thought ATVs were more dangerous than scooters?

When ATV’s first came out 20-25 years ago, (remember the little red Honda three wheeler with the huge fat tires? That was a wind-up TOY compared to what’s out there now) they didn’t go very fast (25 mph top speed maybe)and they were very small.
I’ve ridden the modern very fast ATVs, and I won’t be riding one ever again. There is absolutely no reason to go that fast offroad. They make golfcarts and tractors for hauling people and stuff, and formula one racecars for individuals who like “fast”. As to making the Puegeot “ATV” green, this looks like a testbed for the fuel cell tech we’ve been hearing so much about lately…

It’s really not a motorcycle if it has 4 wheels, even if you steer it with handlebars. This is really a fuel-cell powered ATV or go-cart, depending on your definitions.
There is a fuel cell operated motorcycle, though:
