ZyXEL, which introduced this product today, says its the first hot-spot finder that can detect all three 802.11a, b, & g protocols, and provides detailed information like SSID, security, and signal strength.
The device which is the size of a stick of gum, is the first to have a hotspot finder, client adapter and soft access point all in one, allowing you to get online and burgle some bandwidth ASAP.
Among other features…
- USB 2.0 - A cap at the top pulls off to reveal the interface
- LCD Display - AG-225H supports a graphic LCD display that depicting, signal strength, security & encryption, operation channel, radio band and SSID.
- Built-in LiON Battery
- Enhanced Wireless Security - WPA and WPA2 certified and protects data with 802.1x authentication

I believe the ZyXEL will outrun the others because it detects all three wireless protocols, it’s smaller, AND it can be used as an adapter, if am not misinformed. As a business man who travels alot, this will definetly boost my effeciency to keep in contact with my office, family and friends.
