PowerSquid Ends Power Strip Hell
Almost every device I own comes with a bulky power adapter that hogs far more than one outlet on my power strip. I tried buying the kind of surge protector that offers additional plugs on the side and on the bottom for larger sized chargers, but it just isn’t enough, and the power strips are now big enough to hurt someone.
Now, here’s a refreshing approach. The PowerSquid converts one outlet on into a aptly named squid-like device that lets 5 of your adapters swing freely. Won’t clear the mess under your desk, but what an innovative solution! Now if they would only sell a PowerOctapus. Sells for about $15. PowerSentry via ehome Upgrade

I could definitely use one of those in my dorm room. These dorms were build in the middle of the 20th century before people really had electronic devices and because of this, there are only about 4 plugs per room (2×2 outlets). I’m finding it pretty impossible to run all my electronic stuff off of these (hence why my electric shaver sits below my monitor). It definitely doesn’t help that I have some of those annoying plugs that use up more than their fair shair of space.
