Would You Buy a $50 Mousepad?
Ok, technically it’s a $44.95 mousepad, but you have to hand it to the Bansheepad people for having guts. Here’s a description of what you get, and I have to admit, it sounds enticing:
The Banshee Pad is a solid piece of aircraft grade aluminum, laser cut to a precision tolerance of .0025. Expertly finished, anodized and then laser-etched, this is the stuff of mouse dreams. This pad will provide hours, days, months and years of consistent tracking and feel. It has been tested with top line optical and roller ball gaming mice. While it is suitable for all mice, it is a precision pad and will not always work well with the least expensive optical mice. If your optical mouse does not track well, upgrade.”
I’ll pass, but if they send me an eval unit and I love the product as much as the description, I’ll even buy a few as gifts.
