As I previously wrote, some owners of the new iMacs are seeing their computers emulate PCs, but in the wrong way: they are seeing UI freezes. Today Apple acknowledged the problem.

Apple acknowledged on Thursday recent problems with its consumer iMac computer and promised a fix as soon as possible.

“A small number of iMac users have made us aware that a recent software update issued by Apple can sometimes cause their iMacs to freeze, requiring them to restart their iMac,” an Apple spokesperson told Macworld. Source: Macworld
