In Canada, Cisco isn’t going to sue Apple over the iPhone trademark. That’s because neither of them own the trademark in Canada. In Canada, the trademark is owned by Comwave, which has a VOIP phone called the iPhone Mobile.

“There’s nobody infringing on our trademark in Canada at the present time. There’s announcements but no one has actually infringed yet. Apple hasn’t launched their IPhone in Canada and Cisco hasn’t launched their IPhone in Canada either.
