The best part of the new IntelMacs is that you get to join the Intel pricing system. Those in the know, know that Intel likes to crank down the price every quarter so that poor saps pay the premium and then shrewed buyers step in and pick up the same machine while it has it a CPU pricing in the sweet spot. Of course you can always wait until a model is just outdated junk, but the key is hitting that price drop while the performance is still worth the money to begin with.
