LG’s unique new Dual Spray system which spews forth hot steam for 40 minutes and then spends the next 20 minutes sucking creases out of your attire.
They’ll be available in cherry, rose, aqua blue, black or white from June 2006.
We say: Anything that elininates the need for expensive trips to the dry cleaners and ironing gets our vote!

Not that I have any “cashmere cardigans” but is it really good/not-bad for clothes (of any type) to be hit w/ 212+ degree water for 40 minutes straight?? is that really what happens at the dry-cleaners? if so why is it called “dry”-cleaning?

But how much will be the steam-cleaned cardigans shrink? I suspect they may barely fit your kids’ Barbie doll after this treatment.
I wonder though, how do they rate for efficiency and cost. If the machine takes a ton of power to create the steam, and it costs $1000 more than a regular washer, I’d need to make a lot of trips to the dry cleaner to make up for it.
I’ve been doing some research lately into the new steam clean washers, and I found a website that have very favorable things to say in its LG WM3001HWA review. I wonder though how much use I would really find all those bells and whistles.

I am thinking of buying a front loader. I have read some of these LG washer reviews and one of the reviews was the WM2501HWA, which has steam. Its a lot more price that soemthing with a similar size but no steam though….
