We’ve lost our robotic friends AIBO and QRIO (sob!) today, but here’s a robot that might appeal to our RTN readers.
Asahi is running a contest (Japan only, sorry!) and is giving away 5,000 of these refrigerator / bartender robots. In order to win you have to collect 36 seals from specially-marked Asahi beer cans. Winners are chosen randomly from the submissions. The contest runs from 2/20 – 5/22.
The refrigerator section holds six cans and two mugs. Press a button and it opens a can, tilts the mug and pours the beer.
We Say: Anyone who likes Asahi going to Japan during the contest period? We may have a proposition for you.
Can anyone out there find a videoclip of this thing in action???
