Thats right! Finally a different OS can be used on the Sony PSP. It is not an official port since it is emulated. With that being said, the possibilities are really starting to open up for this gadget. Of course there are some problems at this stage such as Windows taking 10 minutes to boot and also no keyboard support for Linux. But just knowing that this has been done, we can now speculate the improvements and new capabilities this will provide. PSP owners must take a look. Source: Hacker.co.il

But this is only emulated. There is a project working on getting Linux to run natively on the PSP.
Justin – send us the link/info.
Thanks justin, your right. I read it wrong. Corrections have been made. As for the site that is trying to actually boot linux on it, the url is http://www.psp-linux.org. Although I do question how serious they are taking this since they have not released any news since May, and their message board is not very active. But thats not to say they don’t have something brewing behind closed doors.
Sorry I didn’t give a link, I was going out the door to work when I made the post.
Give link. Comments are old. No reason for no link(s). This is old crap.
